Be coming a member

Ontario Volunteer Emergency Squad is always looking for new volunteers. OVES objective is to provide life-saving care to the residents of Ontario and surrounding towns.  If want to help play a vital role in your committee than this is the spot for you. Think you won't have time many of our members work full time jobs, attend school, or have a family with young children. Here are some questions commonly asked about volunteering. 

Who can join?

Anyone over the age 18 with a valid NYS driver’s license 

How much time will volunteering take up?

Members are required to work 36 hours a quarter which (approx. 12 hour per month). These hour can be obtained when ever is convenient.

Can I Volunteer if I'm not an EMT

Yes OVES has driving position that don't require an EMT card. OVES also offer's EMT training for members that are interested in getting there EMT. 

How can I join?
Download the membership application below. If you have any problems with the online version, fell free to stop by our quarters for a copy. Complented application can be emailed to jshoop.oves@gmail.com or dropped of at our base. 

Once you submit a membership application, you will be approved by the general membership as well as the board of directors. Once this is complete you may start training immediately.
