Becoming an employee

To ensure the best coverage of emergencies for the residents of Ontario. OVES employees part time EMT-B and Paramedics to supplement volunteer staffing during times of high call volume and low volunteer availability. 

Requirement of employ for OVES :

        · Least one year experience working as a cleared medic (Preferred)

        · Valid Drivers license 

        · Must be capable of handling a call as the only medic

        · Able to get along with outside agencies as well as volunteer staff

        ·  CPR/BLS certifications (ALS certs for paramedics)
